A new North European GT Championship series is being launched in Nordic countries for the 2011, FIA NEZ GT Championship

The new series will be open to basically any modern GT racing car and will be administered by the Pole Position Ltd with official backing from the FIA NEZ Racing Commission and the Nordic ASN's. The new series will replace the national Nordic series: the GT Finnish Championship, NordicGT (S) and the previous NEZ GT series. NEZ GT Series will feature two classes.

FIA NEZ GT Championship Class will be for FIA GT3 cars.

NEZ GT Cup class will be for cars fulfilling NEZ GT 2009 technical regulations.

All cars will compete on Michelin slick tires.
 
Class structure
FIA NEZ GT Championship Class cars are identified by black race numbers on white background.
NEZ GT Cup Class cars are identified by white numbers on black background.

Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the first three finishers in each class at each race.

The schedule for 2011 will comprise five race meetings, each with two races of 45 minutes.

May 6 - 7              Ring Knutstorp, Sweden (STCC)
May 21 - 22           Alastaro Circuit, Finland (FCR)
July 9 - 10             Audruring, Estonia (FCR)
September 9 - 10   Ahvenisto, Finland (FCR)
September 23 - 24 Mantorp Park, Sweden (STCC)
